Instituted in 1811. Three piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 23 mm (w) x 27. 8 mm (h), intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Royal and Military Order of St. Ferdinand was instituted on August 31, 1811 and awarded to members of the armed forces for heroic acts and distinguished services.
